Choose Love and Shine Hope this April

April is not just any month—it’s National Stress Awareness Month and Physical Wellness Month. It’s the perfect time to focus on our well-being and discover new ways to manage stress while embracing healthy and happy habits. After all, practicing Stress Skills and Happiness Habits goes a long way to Shine Hope in your life and to all people around you.

Speaking of shining hope, have you heard about the Choose Love Movement? We’re thrilled to bring you an inspiring new episode of The Hope Matrix Podcast featuring Scarlett Lewis, the incredible founder behind this global movement.

As the Chief Movement Officer of the Choose Love Movement, Scarlett is on a mission to promote character development in schools and communities worldwide. Through her Choose Love For Schools program, she’s empowering millions of children to respond with courage, gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion-in-action. Scarlett is a champion for our youth, so please give it a listen and consider bringing Choose Love to your community.

And want some more inspiration? Excited to share we are working hard to activate workplaces! I had the honor of teaching the ‘how’ to hope at School Health, starting with leadership, then managers, and now am employee activation. So grateful to Susan and Rob Rogers for their leadership in Hope!

And I just got to take the skills on the road to Little Rock, Arkansas, to train VA leadership on the Science of Hope. We know that hope starts at the top, and the best way to create a hopeful workforce is to ensure leaders understand hope scores, and how they relate to healthcare costs, retention, productivity, violence, safety, and mental health. I was so grateful for the opportunity to share with this important population.

Know a city that needs a little hope? If you haven’t heard on PBS, we recently launched Las Vegas, and would love to launch yours. We’ve also published our college research, so want to activate college campuses as well. If you can help in any way, we would appreciate it.

Pretty sure we could all use a little more hope these days. So thanks for helping us make it happen!

Keep Shining,

Kathryn
