Our Hope work is a whole campus approach to improving mental health for college students, faculty, and the community. It is a preventative and protective approach, we aim to get students help before they need it.

We so often wait until time of crisis to intervene, yet we know that is the worst time, as when we are in crisis we can’t access our problem solving skills for how to get the support we need. Moments of hopelessness increases when we go to college, as we go through so many changes. So it is no surprise we see a rise in anxiety and depression, as hopelessness is a key symptom. Our aim is to ensure all students know how to manage those moments, big or small, and get back to hope.
