Our programs and initiatives support iFred, or International Foundation for Research and Education on Hope, a 501(c)3 organization, working to teach hope, shine a positive light on mental health, and end the stigma around mental illness.

Hopeful Minds®, recognized as an innovation by the World Bank, are curriculums to equip students, teachers, and parents with the tools they need to define, learn, and grow Hopeful Minds. The Hopeful Minds curriculums and resources for children and teens, as well as a Parent’s Guide for using hope language at home, and are available for download at www.hopefulminds.org.

Hopeful Cities© is equipping cities around the world with the tools they need to create, maintain, and grow hope, citywide. The program works to Activate hope in your community through government, education, art, awareness, science, and the workplace, with no cost  materials for all. International Dayof Hope

A day focused on celebrating the Science of Hope, ensuring all know how to proactively manage hopelessness, and provide strategies  for ‘how’ to activate hope. The International Day of Hope allows us to join in solidarity on a single day to share the science, stories, and strategies of hope, and to activate the “how-to” of hope in our lives and in communities around the world.
