Celebrating 20 Years Today
Dear Friends,
It is hard to believe Saturday, July 20th marks 20 years of iFred, and work in global mental health. What started as a dive into depression came out as a mission to ensure all know how to Shine Hope. What an extraordinary journey it has been, and I literally would not be here without all of you, so thank you.

It is also a 20-year celebration of my sobriety. I would not be here, either, if not for my commitment to staying clean, sober, present, and grateful for this life. I’m living life on life’s terms, as they say, and I enjoy it more every day. I practice what I ‘preach’ with hope for sure.

Like this weekend, I’ll be diving deep into Stress Skills and Happiness Habits, out riding horses, hiking in nature with Yoda, meditating, reading, writing, hope strategizing, and reflecting on all I’ve learned along the journey. And basking in wonder and awe. I feel so lucky to be able to do so.
I’ve just returned from a week long trip with my key to hope, and favorite person in my Nourishing Network, my mom. We spent time watching whales, dog sledding, playing pickleball, laughing, reading, and just enjoying life. She is my true hope hero, and I could not be more grateful for her.

So I just wanted to say thank you. For the love, commitment, kindness, support, and encouragement you’ve shown me through the years. It is because of all of you I am here celebrating today.
We will update you on all things Shine Hope soon, we have so much wonderful progress we’ve been making and I can’t wait to fill you in. Look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks, and improving the work so all know how to shine bright in the years to come. Enjoy this beautiful summer.
Keep Shining Hope,
Kathryn
